Sandals Emerald Bay....Location Location Location!
I thi nk if they put a wooden shack up on the site of this, the newest property in the Sandals chain, that it would be hard to go wrong. Well perhaps that’s an exaggeration but truth be told it is really quite hard not to break out into a wide grin when you leave the absolutely gorgeous lobby, stroll past the massive signature pool and venture on to the white sand beaches and into the turquoise waters border this resort. I mean seriously, notwithstanding whatever realities await you back at home, the mere fact that you could find yourself in this place means that something must be A-Ok in life. (more)

 Former model, criminologist and cancer survivor, Neysha Soodeen has experienced her fair share of beauty and adversity. In 1999, this Trinidadian on a mission launched MACO. Produced in the Caribbean, by Caribbean women, the glossy publication was the first of it’s kind to illustrate an elegant and diverse picture of the Caribbean through art and interior design, architecture, cuisine and gardens. “The launch of MACO was instrumental in improving the appreciation we as West Indians have for our own culture as well as allowing the world to understand that we are not simply an archipelago of islands dotted with resorts,” Soodeen explains.
